Faithful to its commitment made last year, that of making our communities healthy living environments, Youth For Challenge held its third CleanUp Day on Saturday 14th of the year 2020. Coming in large numbers from the four corners of Lokossa, They were more than two hundred (200) young people, adolescents and children present at the activity thanks to the joint efforts of several youth organizations who joined the eco-citizen adventure including Let's do it, RJLES, Biosphere BENIN, and the Youth Association by Hounkpo. Some important officials in the department were also involved. They are the Prefect of Mono Mr. Zinsou S. Comlan represented by his Chargé de Mission Mr. Vlavonou, and the Departmental Director of Tourism, Culture and Sport of Mono, Mr. Iquel Anani who were with us during the entire time the activity lasted.

Part of the town hall of Lokossa, the crowd took the axis Lokossa Town Hall - CAEB Lokossa - SITEX - INSTI (ex IUT) - Carrefour Agnivedji - Lokossa Prefecture to end up in the Red Star public square where after the speeches of the authorities, we once again seized the opportunity to educate young people on plastic waste and the consequences that flow from its use, the importance of civic behavior that must be adopted for a healthy environment.

We would like to thank the youth of Lokossa, our various partners RJLES, Biosphère Bénin, Let's do it, the Hounkpo Youth Association, the various authorities and the Republican Police who supervised the activity for its smooth success.

    It is the proof that we can do anything, with a bit of will, strongly that this great initiative of Youth For Challenge makes a case study with other youth organizations, for an influence of the city.
